GYMEA GORILLA’S BLOOD DRIVE WEEK

This year at the Gymea Football club we have seen some fantastic initiatives to support a variety of different causes. Once again the Gymea Football club is leading the way in the Shire by being the first Cronulla Junior League Club to get behind the new RED CROSS BLOOD DONOR CENTRE
Our Blood drive week was extended for another week and we encouraged all Gorillas and Shire residents to get behind this cause.

The Night BILLY SLATER was at the Gorilla Pit
Well it was training as usual on Wednesday night for the Under 14As  and then Coach Wiggs calls for training on Thursday night instead of Friday night, the boys were a little confused as they have a bye for the weekend but everthing is still all go.Training starts and the usual training drills are
underway, about 30 mins in and from the far side of the Gorilla Pit heading towards the boys is no doubt the biggest name in Rugby League today and a true inspiration to all kids the one and only

BILLY SLATER.
Billy on arrival met with all the boys, answered plenty of questions and talked to the boys about everything involved with Rugby league and acheiving your goals to make the top grade, life during and after Rugby League, getting an Education etc,Billy then got involved with the boys training drills not only running in these drills but also giving plenty of input as to how all the boys could improve what they were doing. He took the time to have a photo with each of the boys and some of the parents,Wiggsy just loved it he wanted to be in every photo. On a serious note let us say Billy you are an absolute credit to Rugby League and the Storm on behalf of the 14As and the Gymea Gorillas we thank you for your time and we assure you this night is something that will be with these boys for the rest of there lives. Thanks Mate,
A special mention to Paul, mate on behalf of all the boys and the parents we thankyou for a great night.
