FIREWORKS NIGHT – August 12th

On August 12th we are holding our annual Fireworks Night. From 5.00pm onwards, there will be:

  • Jumping castles
  • Clowns/ Face painting
  • fireworks display
  • Free food and drink (conditions apply)
  • Clubhouse facilities open

WORKING WITH CHILDREN CHECK

In the 2017 season if you do not have a certified and verified WWCC you cannot participate, coach or train in any capacity. This includes training during the week. For full details from the JRL click HERE

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR U9,U12,U13 and U14

The numbers in these age groups are close to full, if you are looking to register a child in U9,U12,U13 or U14 contact registrar Tony Ash on 0403066923 before registering online.

Changes to 2017 Rules – U6, U7, U8

The below outlines key changes in the listed age groups for the 2017 Season, for all competition details click the link above.

Under 6

  • Field Size – 40m x 20m (reduced from 68m x 30m).
  • Team Numbers – 6 per team (reduced from 8).
  • Game Duration – 4 x 8 min quarters (from 3 x 10 mins).
  • Tackles per Set – 6 (increased from 4).
  • Number of Passes – 1 (Reduced from 2, to avoid handover).
  • Chance Rule – Addition of “running into touch”.
  • Tap re-start to non-scoring team at 5 metre line after a try is scored.

Under 7

  • Field Size – 40m x 20m (reduced from 68m x 30m).
  • Team Numbers – 6 per team (reduced from 8).
  • Game Duration – 4 x 8 min quarters (from 3 x 10 mins).
  • Tackles per Set – 6 (increased from 4).
  • Number of Passes – 1 (Reduced from 2, to avoid handover).

Under 8

  • First Receiver Vest introduced (FR) – First Receiver may run with the ball.
  • Game Duration – 4 x 8 min quarters (from 3 x 10 mins).
